Album No, 4: Sigur Ros, "Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust"
One of the most peculiar success stories of the last decade, Sigur Ros have built a cult following out of their long, etheral, post-rock jams, and their "Hopelandic" gibberish (Gibberish Icelandic basically. Has your mind been blown yet?). Their fifth album is possibly the years most bittersweet as the start off with happy "Gobbledigook" and by "Festival" you start thinking about that time your girlfriend dumped you. Sigur Ros have always been one the world's most interesting bands, but very hard to get into. If you've never heard one Sigur Ros song, then Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust is an album for you.
Key Tracks: "Gobbledigook", "Inní mér syngur vitleysingur", "Festival"
